Greenwich, London – October 24, 2025
It began as a simple circle — a quiet ceremony led by my dear Michelle Acosta.
We each drew a first card. My mind, though, was halfway at the train station, already thinking about catching the next ride back to west London.
Without thinking, I reached for one card from the Mystic Art Medicine Deck, illustrated by the stunning artwork of Cher Lyn. The artist described it as “a self-empowering tool to reveal what one already knows within.”
My card: Devotion. Mari Magdalene.
The image: Over her womb glows the Vesica Pisces, the symbol of the lid that closes the Chalice Well in Glastonbury England. Below, 2 white doves hold a green branch shaped as infinity, followed by a pink heart. A white owl rests near her left shoulder, and a white dolphin in the other one. Her hair, a peacock. The explanation:
Every child is born from the Chalice of the Mother.
She, the Cosmic Virgin is crowned in Her birth.
With the sun and the moon under her feet.
Cloaked with the blessings of Mother Earth.
I
I smiled, whispered a quick goodnight, ran for the train.
Later that night, I read the booklet:
“Mari Magdalene is a medicine woman standing in her Devotion and service to the Divine. Medicine is a synonym for magic, as applied to magical forms of healing. She is not only a healer, in her Devotion she possesses powers as seer, priestess, and a holy woman, who speaks with the unseen and knows the ways of Nature and Creature.
… This sacred geometrical pattern (referring to the Vesica Pisces) represents the divine union of masculine and feminine. White owl offers blessings in wisdom of the highest order. White dolphin is an icon of the innocent play bringing in Christ consciousness. Below, two white doves ignite infinite love”.
And suddenly, I heard again the dragon’s words spoken 5 days ago in the Predjama Castle of Slovenia:
“The doves bring the message — listen to the doves”.
I kept reading.
“Your heart is the chalice that holds the Holy Spirit. It is here in Devotion you bring yourself into rapture with the Divine. It is only you and only you who can initiate respect and belief in yourself. Once you fully reclaim your body temple through self-love, forgiveness and acceptance and reuniting both male and female within you, your channel opens to Spirit”.
And once again, the dragon echoed through memory: “The Philosopher’s Stone lies deep in your heart”.
I then felt a stronger thread connecting it all — the dragons, the doves, the Magdalene, and the lakes — from Loch Ness in Scotland to Lake Titicaca in Bolivia.
“There is only one God, yet infinite perceptions. God speaks: take time to listen to what is being communicated. Devote yourself to a practice… remain true to you and in Devotion to your heart center”.
So here I am again — reminded that every path spirals back to the same center.
To the same truth.
To the same chalice.
Devotion: the art of returning, again and again, to the heart, back to my center. A continuation of the previous two fractal journeys.
Two days until I leave for Lyon.
And so, the journey continues.
